SCD V DTWS Christmas Special
Why cannot the three finalists from both shows compete against each other via a satellite link up. With Bruce hosting in London and Tom in Los Angeles. The only problem might be that Keri Ann would be judging on her own in Los Angeles. The show would be recorded for transmission anyway so the time difference would not be a problem. I think it would be a ratings winner on both sides of the Atlantic.

I've thought about the possiblity of some sort of global one off SCD champion of champions show containing the best of SCD, DWTS and the other national equivalents.
The GBP might never have heard of any of the other shows' celebs, but that doesn't really matter. Imagine Ramps and Karen, Darren and Lilia, Colin and Erin against the best of the rest. Bring over Joey Fatone, Ian Ziering, Jenni Garth, that speed skater who won DWTS and a few others and lets party. |

A couple of the DWTS celebs came over for a Christmas Special in 2005 I think it was.
A Boxer and an ex-wife of Rod Stewart who both danced with our Pros, and learnt a new routine for the show. They didn't fare very well on the public vote. The Judges loved Rachel & Brendan's Rhumba, but not the audience. I think a transatlantic show would be fab.

And imagine how Brendan will look when Maks' here!

Imagine the uproar if Julianne Hough will be here competing with the Strictly pros!

Like "World Idol", but much better!
I think it could work! Which couple would you have represent the UK? Aleesha and Matt? Karen and Mark? |

In all fairness though, the two DWTS dancers didn't place very well and neither were they paired with their partners on the show and they were paired against couples who'd spent months dancing together and got to the later stages of the competition. If we saw couples like Apolo/Julianne, Joey/Kym etc against ours I think that would be better.

I think a one off SCD/DWTS Champion of Champions show could work wonders to revitalise SCD after all the negativity and issues surrounding the current series.
Maybe DWTS's best could come to SCD, and SCD's best could go to America for a double edition special. |

There is an international SCD planned I'm sure.
I read about it earlier in the series - can't remember who the interview was with though. |

Maks & Mel B and Darren & Emma would be fun to see dancing in competition.

The 2 DWTS people who came over were Evander Holyfield (danced a jive with Karen) and Rachel Hunter (rumba with Brendan) - thery were 6th and 5th (I think ) in Season 1 of DWTS. Wvander was rightly placed, but Rachel was a surprising eviction when she went as she was actually quite good (better than Penny IMHO).
As the poster above says - their lack of recent practice showed when they did the Christmas special - and they didn't score well in the audience vote. Can't help wondering how they would get on with the DWTS winners though (although you'd NEVER get Apolo to do a Christmas special - its his speed skating season...... |

That would be good, but would make more sense for them all to be in the same place. My money would be on one of the SCD gang to win
