For those interested (and those who aren't, but want to have more ammo against it) the trailer for Torchwood series 2 is on youtube (For BBC America).

Wish I had sound on this damn computer.

Okay it's official, I now have something to look forward to for the January TV season. Is it just me or does anybody else think from the trailer it would seem that Torchwood is a more polished show this season?

Thanks for that, looks good, wonder what's going on with Martha, she seems to be strapped to a table. (I won't divulge any further my own thoughts on that matter)

Also , the very brief opening shot, is it of a spaceship or the Millenium Centre in Cardiff Bay reflected on the water? You can see the writing on the building towards the left hand side of the shot.

Looks pretty good to me.

So America get Series 2 the same time as us? thats not fair we have to wait ages for their stuff.

I think we get it on the 16th dont we? I thought that was the general belief (dunno if its actually been confirmed though).

My God what's happening to Martha?!

Trailer looks good though, can't wait!

Funny, I haven't even seen the 1st Series; yet I'm still going to be watching the 2nd Series anyway.

Ahhh the return of James Masters dodgy "English" accent!
It's been a while!

The sound was very low on that clip so some things were hard to make out, no matter though, I bet we'll see it either before/after the Dr Who Xmas episode.
Maybe on BBC 3 after confidential if it's not "suitable" enough!

It shows in the UK about 2 weeks before BBC America airs it.

Impressive looking trailer.

that trailer looks great, shame Gwen's doppey police friend is still in it. I love Jack's entrance, always the show man. roll on January. if season 2 is good, what are the chances of a 2008 Christmas special?

'twas very low my end to. I downloaded it and increased the volume manually though.

Either there's a continuity error, or when Jack went back to torchwood at the end of doctor who series 3, he went back to an empty hub. As he doesn't turn up at the base according to the trailer, but at the scene of a crime/alien attack.

For the person that complained about the sound, here's a louder trailer here:

Yes, but it probably won't be more polished, trailers can make a crap series look good and vice versa. Although it certainly looks like more effort was put in.

I'm sooooo excited now! *Does a little dance* I can't believe Martha's strapped to a table! I had to keep pausing it to see if it was actually her!

I'm so looking forward to James Marsters being back in it! He's the best American actor for putting on a British accent (I thought he was British when I first saw Buffy).
