Nigel Slater is my favourite. He had a series a while back and it's one of the few times I think my mouth watered during every episode and the food looked simple too.

Saying that I'm kinda sick of simple food now and Heston's over the top food is inspiring even if I doubt I could ever bring myself to buy specialist equipment to prepare single dishes.

Nigella Lawson's is probably my second favourite celeb chef, I'll freely admit to being mesmerized by her magnificent bust, but truthfully I watch her show for the food and the way she talks about food.

I know Delia is well respected and has a fabulous site that I use all the time but everytime I think of her recipes I just imagine myself as a kid watching her ruining some Chocolate desert with Prunes, nuts & dates.

I do like Gordon Ramsey even though he's on everything at the moment.

I love love love Bill Grainger whose food is so healthy but delicious.

Love Nigel Slater too. Such an underated cook as he's not always on the TV, but loads of top chefs rate him.

I think my fave at the mo is Bill.

The ones that seem more interested in cooking the food than furthering their career.

Have to say I can't cope with mr Ramseymyself, his language is foul and it really puts me off. I think most other celeb chefs are great but I especially like heston and his scientific approach and i'd love to try his food it looks amazing

Good old Fanny ...blue mashed potato!

personally my fave is Hugh F.W. ( although I'm never sure if he's really a chef, or a food writer turned presenter?)

Anyway, have enjoyed his programmes ever since the first series of TV Dinners.....

James Martin and Gino D'Acampo.....both lovely blokes to chat to an' all. I got Gino's book the other day and it is indeed as the title says "fantastico"

I love Jamie's recipes, they always work out perfect for me (or maybe that's me being a fantastic cook ) I love his style although once you've done one, you can more or less do it again without looking at the book.

James Martin is my favourite to watch, he's hotter than an oven him. Not tried any of his recipes though

I reccommed James' recipe for aubergine and mozerella stacks (one of the first recipes of his I made) and also the fruit and nut biscotti.

Can I also add Reza Mahammed to my list of favourite chefs too? I love his tandoori chicken recipe.

Reza is great if just a teeny tiny bit camp.

His book is worth grabbing, they had it at thebookpeople for a fiver, might still be there.

Ken Hom - such a lovely man, closely followed by Nigel Slater - love his columns.

I hate all of them. Sorry. I especially can't stand Ramsey (double sorry!) because I get tired of his 'I'm so clever because I swear a lot' routine.

It's like so called comedians or film makers that use sex and violence central to their material and can't write without it.

Anyone but Worrall-Thompson the squashed Bee Gee, does anyone actually like him? He's like a creepy Uncle who is a bit too affectionate.

I love Anthony Bourdain as well, even if he's not a Celebrity Chef, more of a food writer.

I like Rick Stein, Nigella Lawson and Gordon Ramsay.

Jamie Oliver, James Martin, Keith Floyd, Anthony Worrall Thomson and Gary Rhodes are instantly switch-offable.

Gordon f**king Ramsey

Some of his quotes make me laugh a lot, what he says isn't always funny but how he says it

"You can't even run a f**king bath, let alone a restaurant" Which in the show I saw it said in, was actually true!

I still find Floyd enjoyable - also some of the older chefs such as Robert Carrier and Elizabeth David (whose Mediterranean cookery is legendary)

New chefs has to be Heston Blumenthal - his approach is just amazing and what I would give to experience his ultimate Christmas dinner

Also GR ....makes me laugh

My favourite was from the US Hells Kitchen when someone had not used a non-stick pan and the food had stuck to it...

'Use a non-stick pan and then it won't stick, that's why it's called fu**ing non-stick'!

I don't really have any favourite celebrity chefs, but if I did, then it would have to be Jamie Oliver!
