I know UK Gold frequently in the past at least seem to have shown the Chris Eccleston season somwhat. anyone know if there are any plans to show it again soon as I missed it from The Long Game up to Bad Wolf.

Why have people started calling it season? Lol. It's series, or serial. This is not heroes or west wing, it's doctor who.
I think it's a better description myself. The series is called Doctor Who; the next of which will be... whatever the heck it is

Well 'serial' is the official term for them.

The world of Doctor Who has used the term 'season' since at least the 1980s.
Interestingly, on the official site, http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/episo...07/index.shtml they use "series", however, when you switch to the classic "series" http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/class...ex_first.shtml they settle for "season". So I don't think it really matters. If it does, follow the BBC's examples, as they are classically inconsistent canon!
