Oh i really can't see good old Charlie in the role, lol. He'd make a nice guest star though, but he's best sticking at Holby, lol

Yes David would be fun. Also he is a very fine actor when you look closely with a full range of emotion. He would also bring much needed maturity and gravitas to the rile.

Full range of emotion? That would be "Happy drunk", "Sad drunk", "Mad drunk" and "slow motion running across a beach drunk" then?

As for Gravitas, he has all the Gravitas of something my dog deposits in the back garden. Although I will give you the maturity part if only for him possessing medically the liver of a 90 year old.

Could we really cope with the Doctor showing a carpet of hair on his chest and a gold medallion, which the Hoff would no doubt demand as part of his costume. He'd also probably have the contract demand of singing in every episode, which would ensure the shows success in Germany and no-where else.

Thank you dervish, best laugh of the day. What kind of contract did you have to offer Orange to make them publish that?

That is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever read on the internet. Seriously I now have red wine coming out of my nose.

Please dervish. Never stop being you

If you look at the first few series of Knight Riders then you will see very serious, drmaatic stories -- it was only in the last few series that KITT became more involved - the early shows were gritty and thriller driven.

Yeah Right. If you want to see Gritty watch the new Battlestar Galactica or Babylon 5.

How deeply bizarre.

I have just read that Derek Thompson is leaving Casualty tonight.
It'll be Duffy and Megan leaving next.

Sign up Nurse Charlie straightaway!
