Which TV Sony KDL-32S3000 or Samsung LE32R87BD?
Hello,
I am thinking about getting a LCD telly. Which one should I get Sony KDL-32S3000 or Samsung LE32R87BD? I know Sony and Samsung have joined forces with their LCD tellys. Which brand is most reliable, I think Sony personally but I am wondering what other people think. I know both tellys have near the same specification or the same specification? Which one should I get? Thanks, Stephen. |

Which one should I get? Sony and Samsung haven't 'joined forces' as such, but they have a joint venture called 'S-LCD' making high quality LCD panels - most Sony's use these panels, but many Samsungs (and the bottom of the range U series Sony's) use the lower spec Samsung branded panels. |

Both of them are inferior compared to a Panasonic TX32LMD70, which is what I would buy.
The Samsung certainly looks nicer than the Sony in the living room, but I'd avoid Sony and Samsung and go for the Panasonic. |

Hi
I just had the Sony KDL-S3000U 32" delivered from Amazon for £479. I was a bit nervous on which 32" to buy but i am really pleased with it, picture is great in SD (although you may have to play with the settings till u get your best pic), and the Xbox 360 looks amazing. I went with this TV and receiving feedback from someone else on DS who actually has the set, I would definantely recommend the set on my first impression and you get a three year warranty from Amazon to boot. Seems best to go with your gut feeling on a TV, cause if you look round the forums you find a wide range of opinions and pros and cons of all sets. I must admit i liked the Panasonic set, but is over £100 more, so depends on your budget. |
