Lol during series 3 people were saying Martha sucks, Rose rules. Then when Martha goes (kind of) and Rose returns (kind of), everyone moans lol.

I Just want it to be Tara Goodnight and close the door on your way out for Rose so we can move on.

Martha Could have been great without the ever present shadow of Rose looming over T'Tardis.

I do like the character I am not a massive hater of Rose i just wish it would be

I hope series 4 breaks this pattern as I'm getting fed up with RTD telling me I have to love Rose over all others. He really needs to get over his love of Rose: it's just tedious.

i know its been talked about over and over,martha reallly wasnt given a chance we got to see gleams of the powerhouse but so much of her character was transformed into this love sick schoolgirl.
she had the brains lets face is rose wasnt the sharpest tool in the box they were worlds apart,trying to force us to belive martha had fallen in love with the Dr almost felt like they were trying to stretch out the relationship he was forming with rose but in the end it just became a jumbled mess.
theres no doubt he made marthas character fail the whole point of Dr who is renewal and its a rule he sadly broke with martha&the Dr.

The Programme is called "Doctor Who", not "Rose" peoples obsession with her saddens me.

Is that to say that other characters apart from the Dr. cant be given more depth, own storylines or be enjoyed.



I dont get all this Martha soppy eyed stuff it didnt bother me, it took up a few lines an episode at the most, not a big deal. To me it wasnt about Martha being soppy eyed but how the Dr copes with losing a companion, something that hasnt really been dealt with before.

I wish they'd kept it secret. I'd have loved the complete and utter bowel-shattering shock of Rose suddenly appearing on screen.

Unfortunately, that was pretty much impossible, as people in Cardiff took pictures of the filming on their phones and they were posted within an hour of it happening . I really didn't like Rose at all, but had this been kept a surprise, I'd have been rather interested in the unseen twist. Instead, I'm just bored by all the attention this rather unsympathetic character gets from certain sectors of the press and fandom.
