How fab, a food and drink section, just come across it for the first time.
I'll be having roast chicken (on my own so pointless buying a massive turkey!), roast potatoes & parsnips, stuffing, sprouts (I love 'em!), mashed swede, cauliflower in white sauce, peas, bread sauce & gravy. Mmmmm. Haven't decided on desert yet, I'm not a fan of the traditional stuff so might end up buying a chocolate sponge or something. |

Didn't have anything as I was at work. However, my best friend cooked an extra portion for me, which she gave to me last night, and it is waiting for me as my dinner today. The full lash, it is.

Although not directly related to the cooking aspect of Christmas dinner, instead of drinking wine with our Christmas meals, we are considering having sparkling grape juice to drink with our meals instead, just to break tradition a bit.

Does that creamy gateau include anything like black cherries in the jam for it or anything similar?

I'm not cooking my mum is were having turkey breast joint, roast potatoes, yorshires, veg, pigs in blankets, gravy and possibly bussels no one really likes them but she makes them sometimes.
No one in my house like christmas pudding or christmas cake so it'll probably be a apple pie or crumble for dessert, Kinda like a normal sunday roast. Im feeling hungry now .
