I'm thinking of upgrading to Sky+, but have read that using the Sony RDR recorders (mines an 860) to record from the Sky+ hard drive may cause more problems than it's worth ?
E.g
1) Retaining the widescreen flag
2) getting copy-protected signal - so can't do final editing
3.) no Sync Recording

Anyone had any experiences of this ?
