Carry on all you like, noone is stopping you, however WE also have our opinion, and thats that lalas thread was perfectly fine for the forum.

why do people assume that because someone disagrees with them they are trying to stop them posting?. and isnt it a bit hypocritical to say other posters shouldnt post stuff, when you say you'll post what you want!!.

Lala is perfectly entitled to say the same as you
ie 'That's my opinion and I'm posting it whether you like it or not'
”

Who's 'WE'?

Opinions aren't the issue are they? Empty pointless threads are the issue. Do you understand what I mean? Never mind who started the threads, I'm just saying that I find it irritating to read thread titles that say 'WOW QUICK LOOK IN HERE!!!!!!!!' only to discover it's a waste of time opening the thread.

That's pretty much all I'm trying to say here. *shrug*

If I may put my 2p worth in, when I read Sputnik's post I'm not sure he was getting at lala particuarly and I understood what he meant about the thread titles having no context to what was actually posted. It is extremely annoying and timewasting to open a thread only for it to contain something you wouldn't have read if you had known, i.e. if I started a thread called "Latest on Jon" and the post actually was singing Cameron's praises for instance, quite rightly you would be annoyed that you had wasted your time on the thread.

Feel free to agree or disagree

This is all true and gets mentioned a lot in other threads, maybe it should have a thread of its own??!!!

I also find it irritating to be waiting to open up a thread (especially when it is peak time and a lot of traffic is coming to the site) and the content is irrelevant or unrelated to the title or it is a joke /. windup.

Suggestion - use titles that are more descriptive of the content so that people will know what they are going to see.

Using titles like the one for this thread is misleading.

Well this thread offers all the advice that you need from our in-house goddess that is - Beth

Perhaps lala should accept a little tap on the back of the hand for using a misleading title and promise never to it again...
