Didnt you see his bedroom. It was covered in head to toe rangers stuff. A bit silly at his age but hey he won x factor so nothing makes sense anymore.

How did he get so many votes from Scotland seeing as they knew he was a Rangers fan? That would have lost him 50% of the votes automatically

Nonsense. Why do you think that chap who won Fame Academy, David ?, wore a Rangers' strip during dance class every day, and rabbitted on about how much he loved Rangers. I heard later that he wasn't even a Rangers' supporter.

Will the game be on tv? If so, I hope he sings.

It probably wouldn't show you him on telly.

I hoped you come around eventually! Now buy the CD. I tell you all three tracks are good but 'Home' is excellent. Where does that wonderful smoky voice come from in one so young? The single is called 'When You Believe' by Leon Jackson.

Yeh, right! It'll be on Only if Leon sings live or if my brother-in-law turns up as he is a Rangers fan.

Its like saying that Man City fans would lose 50% of votes in a poll. For those who know Scottish football, will get the joke of the 'lost votes'.

33% of the votes. 2/3rds of Glasgow is blue.

And well done to Rangers for getting this organised.

I don't even watch X-Factor, if I'd have known he was a bear I'd have voted for him though.

Well done Leon

Ironically, I'm a Leon fan and have always loved his voice...which is the number one priority on my list.

And ironic again is that I was brought up in Ibrox...right across the road. I have seen many horrors including the Ibrox disaster.

I'm sick of the Rangers v Celtic debate and don't actually feel very comfortable seeing Leon decorated in his favourite colours.

But I'm absolutely fine about who Leon supports.............no probs with that at all.

What I hope doesn't happen is that it is exploited to the hilt just because he is a Rangers supporter.

Like someone else said about the odds stuff....I'm sure if this angle is exploited, it will surely alienate him from fans who, like me, love him for his voice, but abhor any kind of football fanaticism.....and its exploitation.

Thanks Chops

The last thing that we need to divide the Leon fans are the Celtic/Rangers divide

Totally agree....and I'm so glad someone said it.

I remember the whole 'thing' that went on in the 80s about people liking 'Wet, Wet, Wet' as opposed to 'Simple Minds' due to allegiance both had with Glasgow football teams. Pathetic.

This is potentially a negative thing....I wish Leon had stayed away from it at a time when the media are hungry for him.

I have to laugh at people going on about 'The Scottish Vote' etc.....if only they knew the impact of sectarianism in the West of Scotland. I know one person who likes Leon and has admitted would not have voted had he been as openly a Celtic fan. That person is not, IMO, alone.
