Out in the madness of shoppers today I sat on a bench in town for a breather and just along from me was an old fella and a young boy, and I couldn't help but earwig on their conversation ........
Young boy " ah but grandad, Aleeeeeesh is just brilliant at it all and has been forever, and if it was up to me she would win"
Grandad "but Mat has improved so much and is just as good really"
................. much conversation ensued between the two as to the merits of each ............ then ......
Young boy "Grandad, would you rather be married to Flavia or Aleshia?"
Grandad "cough, cough, cough, splutter"
Grandma turns up at this point .... and tells young un that Grandad only has eyes for her and they hoofed it in their time with the best of them and could give the strictly lot a run for it, Grandad agrees, winks at me and his grandson and says that she (grandma) had much sexier knickers than Flavia or Aleshia got up, grabbed nanna and proceeded to do a jive and a twirl (of unkown origin) right there in front of us !
LOVED IT !! made my blimmin day it did.
Suffice to say, I've been at the christmas sherry and would like to wish you all a merry one xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
