I would go for the one that has flash. I don't think any of them have it.

Depends what your main reasons for getting the device are.

Video handling is infintely better on the Archos ... especially a 605 with all the plug-ins. Many more CODEC's handled and as a portable PVR, nothing else comes close.

Internet connectivety is probably better in the touch. The touch is also a lot smaller and has a nicer UI.

I got the Archos 605 for Xmas and I am still totally in love with it

On my PC I have 2 external hard-drives with films on and it streams perfectly to the TV I have in the fron room, the docking bay is an essential buy as well as the plug in's which does bump the price up.

But for storage alone 16gb for the itouch compared to 160gb (I have 80gb model)

I was very disappointed with the gadget show portrayal - a test when buried under snow who could download a song ,.... WTF - it was more drama than a proper review.

If you like your gadgets you'll love this, it may not be as sexy as the ipod touch but once the sex appeal wears off all you have is the gadget.

Gadget show is becoming a bit of a joke with it's "reviews", they seem to find overly dramatic tests that come out with the result they want to give.
