I didn't know there is a new lemon & lime variety. Of course I just had to try it and it's quite yum

I love Jaffa cakes, I can easily eat way too many in one go
![]() Also Sainsburys own brand are dairy free so my son can eat them too, which is cool. I always thought mcvities were the nicest but I guess I've got used to Sainsburys as when I had Mcvities recently I thought they tasted artificial |

Are there really no vegan Jaffa cakes?
![]() I guess they must all have egg in I call them biscuits, although my daughter insists they are cakes . You're right about the egg. My heart jumped last night when I saw jaffa cakes in Holland & Barrett and I rushed over to read the ingredients, all excited, but alas, they were not suitable . (I think it was only gluten or dairy that they were free from, but I can't remember). I tell myself though that one day I will get round to having a go at making my own huge vegan-style jaffa cake and scoff the lot!

Believe it or not, the Morrisons Bettabuy ones are much nicer than the McVities ones. The Cadbury's ones are just not worth it.
Jaffa Cakes are an odd commodity in this house. I don't like dark chocolate, and my mother doesn't like orange, yet a packet of Jaffa Cakes doesn't last very long at all! |

Hmph, lemon and lime and raspberry jaffa cakes. It's wrong I tell ye, all wrong! Jaffa cakes are meant to be orange - you can't mess with the powers that be!
