Same Difference Have a Deal to a single to be released in the new year..... More to Follow
Very pleased for them.

We've been speculating on the SDAT what it might be. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now and Never Had A Dream Come True are popular choices. Breaking Free would be great, but I'm not sure that Disney would give permission.

Could be a totally 'new' song as well of course.

I think, based on the judges coments, it may be NGSUN & WMUBYGG as they were the ones that got lots of praise and mentions of being sucessful as a single.

Or they could release NHADCT in conjunction with an anti bullieing campaign.

Well, if the rumour of Disney approaching them to play Ryan and Sharpay in the UK HSM tours is true, then they may actually be pushing for them to release it to publicise the tour.

Hopefully!

At least it means they should be back on TV doing promo interviews, performances etc in the New Year. I think they were the only 'eliminated' act not to be interviewed on GMTV, This Morning etc. (apart from Rhydian, who has had plenty of coverage elsewhere since the final).

I can't believe they would do that- the roles are quite hard (the dancing is far beyond what they do in the film), all the contracts have been signed and the cast are in rehearsals. I just don't think Disney need Same Difference to sell their tour- it sells itself. Actually, if anything, I think Same Difference would de-value it somewhat.

No offence to Same Difference, I love them.

I don't know if they'd 'de-value' it as such - they might 'distract' from it though. However, if you say the dancing is more demanding than SD have faced so far, then I will have to bow to your superior knowledge (never having seen the film).

In any case, if the tour is in rehearsals I definitely couldn't see Disney giving permission for Breaking Free to be released on a rival label.

I would like to see a Double A side of a new song and an X Factor performance though. One up-tempo, one ballad - NHADCT being the ballad.

Same Difference are going to be the most successful act. While Rhydian and Leon self-destruct, these two are going to work forever. And good luck to them.

Distract is probably a better word! What i mean as, as much as some people love SD, I think more people love HSM and want to see a true representation rather than stunt casting. I think it would put off more people than it would entice. Not that they wouldn't be good in it.

The dancing in the film isn't too bad, but they have changed the routines in the tour and it is quite hardcore. Having experienced the excruiciatingly embarassing audition. *shakes head* Hideous, hideous, hideous.

I am very pleased to hear the good news about SD - I found them a joy to watch - but must disagree with your assessment of Rhydian's prospects. There is no way he will self destruct.

I like the fact no-one's come on to defend Leon...

Leon and Rhydian are doomed because of the controversy surrounding this season. Without wanting to create a massive debate from what is essentially a Same Difference thread, that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
