There's an article in today's Telegraph reporting that Craig and Len are attacking the middle aged female viewers.

I think that was a rehash of the guardians article. Still can you believe a paper that can't even get a name right? BRUNO WATERFIELD!!! Who?

Don't know what they are playing at. Grrr.

There is nothing new in those comments - they are re-hashes. I like it when they say what thye think, rather than toe a company line...even if I don't like what they say.

Anyway, it is not like it doesn't get said on here, is it?

Something has to explain Darren bleeping Gough beating Colin

Which reminds me. Darren was on BBC radio this morning and he wants Alesha to win for dancing consistently good throughout the series. Said she deserves.

Brucie was on a bit later but he didnt talk about any couple in particular. Said how high the standards were this year.

As a woman in her late 30s who isn't fat, bloated or prone to shoving kit kats into my gob 4 at a time, I have to say that article is a load of old b*llocks.

I love Alesha. I think she's beautiful, fresh, sparkling and I thinks it's great to see a girl who isn't a size zero being so sexy and confident. For me, she's a fantastic mrole model for teenage girls.

I have never voted in any reality show for anything other than talent (SCD, XF etc) or likeablity (BB, IAC). In fact, I'm far more likely to vote for women or guys my own age as they are the ones I 'get' more.

Stupid comments by stupid people.

*edit* Btw, my 62 year old mum feels exactly the same as do virtually all my, rapidly approaching middle aged, friends.

I have already posted on another thread regarding this article. Who the hell does Len BADman think he is. I am a normal female. Voted for Kelly. Then for Gethin but only because of his connection with Camilla and therefore Brendan, not because I liked looking at him. But in any case I did think he was worth voting for not because I liked the look of him. Vile Vile Vile Len BADman. We must remember, though, that Len BADmanners isn't very bright. He is saying only what the press want to hear. Thinks it will make him popular.

To be fair, if you go on certain threads on this and many other forums you could get the impression that SOME fm's would vote for "their" zeleb/profession even if they came out and did a baby-bum shuffle for 3 mins.

Many others wouldn't, but there are examples of people who only watch whilst their favourite is in, who vote 16 times even when they are not great and who vote on looks rather than ability.

Please note before the flames come that I said some...

That's probably because they're all scared of you.

Seconded, newwoman. I'm in my 40s, and I would never vote for either Matt or Gethin over Alesha or Kelly. In any case, for me, Matt and Gethin and men like them, are just too young to be interesting. I'm a fan of the older man of character - say, Bill Turnbull <SIGH>
