If Leon did it, it would be a sweet and charming gesture, showing what a lovely lad he is. Rhydian does it and he's 'flashing the cash', showing the others up and acting the teachers pet. Oh, and he only did it because he thought he was going to win anyway, which shows what an arrogant tosser he is. Biased much?

Nice. If Rhydian's fans called Leon names like that, you'd object. Do as you would be done by.

Absolutely right
I hope Rhydian and Leon both have a happy, lovely Christmas and new year.

Don't say anything about ginger hair, I have it and wouldn't change it for anything , I really hope Rhydian lets his hair go back to ginger some day , I think he said he was bullied at school for having it (correct me if I am wrong on that ) so was I .

I think Rhydian was correct about his mentor. Louis' right about her. FAKE! He knew Sharon never liked him.

Who Cares! The only people that really matter are Simon and Louis. Fortunately for Rhydian, they like him.

So, in one short interview we discover that Rhydian is claiming that the only 2 female judges in the show dislike - nay, at times hate - him.

Charming!

I cannot comment on the above as I've only seen him being interviewed on XFactor and then again last night when he claimed Simon was sorry he didn't win.

I do know that he does claim in the Mirror that the female judges dislike/hate him., but this is brushed off because they are not able to further his career, unlike Simon and Louis. ”

*Yawn.* Correct me if I'm wrong but did I read somewhere that Leon has his own car?

The fact is that we make our decisions independent of others, if we feel something the right thing to do, regardless of whether others can or not.

I don't give a fig if Leon has a car or not and that is not the point, as I'm sure you are aware.

I don't believe he does make his career decisions independent of others. I listened to his mother's interview, and she made it quite clear that she had been the power behind the thrown, so to speak.

If as you claim Rhydian did the right thing, then imo it is not because he has manners or is a nice chap, but simply because in the theatre world it is tradition to give flowers. He is fortunate that as a student he can afford to indulge in such an expensive tradition at this stage in his career.

As for those who claim that I wouldn't like it if people said similar about Leon they are quite simply wrong.

Anyone as you say, it's all rather Yawnable now.

My point stands. I believe Rhydian does these things because he has good manners and is a nice person. If you choose to see the worst in him so be it. Personally though, as a Rhydian fan, I wouldn't have criticised Leon if it had been him. I don't really see how you can bring his mother into it.

I have looked through your posts - you obviously dislike Rhydian but that is no excuse. I presume you have never been given flowers and cannot understand the motives that Rhydian had, that he wanted to thank Faye who he has also thanked on camera on several occasions. He wanted to make her happy and show that he didn't take her hard work for granted. It certainly worked because she was thrilled and felt appreciated.
That there has been a discussion lasting for over a day criticising Rhydian for his gift is incomprehensible - it is said to be a sign of arrogance, that he did it because he thought he would win (he said he didn't think that at all), he has money anyway which makes the gesture meaningless - that is the first time I have heard that students are wealthly, that it is a tradition in the theatre - so what, not everyone does it and he hasn't actually worked in the theatre yet, only in student productions.
Would you have said the same had Leon given flowers.
Instead of applauding Rhydian for showing thoughtfulness, good manners and generosity, he is pulled to pieces yet again - I don't think he has more money than Leon for example - he might even have less - he was a student until last year and has debts from his student loan. Leon has worked. Maybe Rhydian saved the money that the others spent on alcohol to give to the X Factor staff who normally get no recognition.
And Rhydian does 'have nice manners and is a nice chap' - everyone who has dealt with him has said so. One thing is for sure, he wouldn't partake in such petty criticism and vindictiveness. He is far too nice and well-mannered for such games, and as all his housemates have said, he never has a bad word to say about anyone . I suppose that is another attribute that will be criticised here and put down to his alleged arrogance and wealth - neither fit to him, but no matter it is fun to pull someone to pieces.
Forget about Rhydian, concentrate on Leon and his present and future massive success.

I believe Rhydian gave Faye and the production staff flowers because he wanted to make them happy and it shows he is a nice person "Theatre tradition" to give flowers? News to me.
I would have said Leon is a nice person too if he gave flowers.
