This morning, at about 11:20, I happened to notice that my Toppy's clock was showing 08:40.
I couldn't imagine how this had happened, but it occurred to me to check whether the recording of Star Trek TNG early this morning (02:25 to 03:55, plus a little padding), which I had set at about midnight last night, had taken place. No, it had not! There was no sign of it in the archive, or in the list of recordings set to take place.
There is no evidence of an overnight power cut - VCR and DVD clocks are both correct.
After I had turned it on, the Toppy's clock reset itself to the correct time.
Any ideas of what could have happened, anyone?
Incidentally, before anyone asks, I don't have any TAPs installed - I'm a beginner and have no idea what to do with them or how to install them! Also, I have read that they can mess things up, and so I have tended to avoid them so far!
