Dancing In The Moonlight for me. It would have been a bad choice even without the Peter Kay's dad walking to dancefloor dancing. It's just a really shocking song IMHO, no matter who sings it.

For me it would have to be Hope singing `Hankey Pankey...(nothing like a good spankey)` the same week that a contestant had `left` the competition because of a Happy Slapping video. Cowell could have and SHOULD have changed the song choice, if it had been Louis or Sharons acts singing it he would have gloated about the song choice.
I think it is more of a challange to sort out a "duet" with a duo . Brinigng in another artist with a soloist or a group of three or better four or more seems to be easier. Something about the group dynmaic of a duo

Yeah, it is hard to have a duet with a duo, but still, choosing SDs weakest song of the series was a bad move. I dont know how much difference the duets made to the voting buy I think they could have lost SD some votes
It's a cross between Build Me Up Buttercup and Leon's car-crash Can't Buy Me Love in the first live show. Fair play to the lad, he did well to come back from that.
Not from x-factor, but Rosie Ribbons horendous slaughtering of "The Winner Takes It All", from PI1 is still the worst ever performance from the talent shows imo.
