I have visions of running battles between Leon and Rhydian fans up and down the country's arenas. Local hospitals will have to be put on full alert.
Will either artist be safe when on stage from being bottled? If Leon is on last will there be a mass walk out by Rhydian fans? Or orchestrated booing? |

I think that would be such a shame if either fans reacted like that - so disrespectful. I am sure neither of the lads would be overly impressed.

I think we are getting carried away with venom spouted in the largely anonymous world of the information superhighway. People are rarely so confrontational in the flesh. Sadly, I DO fear a bit of a walkout after Rhyd's been on, apart from maybe Glasgow and Aberdeen.

I dont think the DS XF Forum is representative of the typical XF tour attenders. God last year I couldn't get over the madness for Ray!

Don't mistake the microcosm that is DS for the rest of the UK. |

What??? I think Leon has more to worry about in Cardiff! Rhydian will be just fine in Scotland.
Don't mistake the microcosm that is DS for the rest of the UK. What I meant was Leon, as winner, is the last act on and I think there will be many a Rhyd fan who goes after he's been on. Apart from Glasgow and Aberdeen. Similiar thing happened on the NME tour 2 years ago when Maximo Park found themselves in the unenviable position of going on after Arctic Monkeys and at many of the venues a sizeable portion of the crowd left after Arctic Monkeys had finished (it certainly happened in Sheffield as I was there!). |

I think you underestimate Leon's popularity, even in Cardiff. I personally think both acts will have tremendous support and really, if some of Rhydian supporters do walk out before the end it wouldn't say a lot for the calibre of those fans.
I did say sadly. But, people pay their money and are entirely free to do what they want, within the law. |

At last year's tour in Glasgow, the place half-emptied after Ray had performed. It was absolutely shocking - queues of young girls streaming out whilst Leona was performing. |

Utter nonsense, SGE. There are plenty of people from all over the UK that voted for Leon. They do not just come from Scotland. Some very disgruntled Rhydian fans may well leave the show after Rhydian sings. The halls will hardly be emptied. Be real. The world isn't like DS. |

I think you're right, some people just have no respect.

No - all this silly animosity will be forgotten by the New Year - Leon, Rhydian and SD will all have record contracts with Simon so everyone should be happy. Hopefully Niki will have got a role in the west end by then too.

Be real. The world isn't like DS. Fair enough. Only time will tell, of course. I've seen it happen and it's not pleasant for the last act on, I genuinely hope it doesn't happen on this tour. |

Whilst I would feel sorry for any act that saw its audience dwindling just before he appears, if I didn't have any interest in hearing an artist, I would want to make my escape, as unobtrusively as possible. Some people, myself included have real difficulty sitting through something they aren't interested in.
Booing is a different matter. Having said that I would probably manage to sit through all the final 10 or 9 or whatever it is. |

Is Victoria Wood taking Dinner Ladies to the West End? Can't wait.

I think that's probably a fair statement as most of the adults who did leave were the parents of the kids. Although there were a few older people doing the same.
