Seabrooks - Cheese and onion or smokey bacon

McCoys salt and vinegar

Used to love KP - what happened to them? Think the far inferior Walkers managed to drive them out of business.

Kettle chips for me, especially the plain and sweet chilli ones. I'm also addicted to curry pringles.

I've gone off them a bit. Haven't had them in a while, but if my favourite is barbeque or prawn cocktail or chicken.

Any brand as long as they are Cheese & Onion. The best ones that I have tasted are Real Crisps. Bit dear, but lovely and strong.

Barbecue Pringles, salt and vinegar McCoys or cheese and onion Golden Wonder.

The ice cream van round my way is the only place I know that sells Golden Wonder any more.

This was quite a good article on crisps that was in the Guardian:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/food/Story...683713,00.html

Explains the story about how crisps were first made, right through to how it's changed, through the 80's (when "crisp mania" encompassed Skips, Space Invaders and the dubiously flavoured Hedgehog crisp) and it's transformation to the current £1-a-bag "gourmet" experiences.

Also has a blind taste-test of the best sellers. I never thought Mccoys might not be cut straight from the potato (as it appears to) - it's just mushed up and formed into shape!
