I am considering buying a digital DVD recorder that will record Freeview and playback my own DVDS and record to DVD. I have a collection of Region 1 DVD recordings I must be able to play

I must have one that is or can be software/handset converted to region free.

Are there any suggestions please.? Medium price, obviously if there is a competititively priced excellent machine (code for cheap) I would like to know.
