It would be no loss if he left, his contribution is useless.....

Im fed up with him now. He praised the acts this year at first, said 'the best they ever had', now hes slagging them all off. Sour grapes cos him and Sharon didnt have any acts in the final.imo

He's not very good louis. anyone who thinks the macdonald brothers are better than journey south clearly isnt a good judge.

Why didn't you just start a thread saying "Who will stay and who will leave next year"... would have been far easier.

Exactly what i was thinking.

Anyway Louis shouldn't be going anywhere. He's the only judge that provides entertainment.

how does he liven up the show? he just insults simon cowell and constantly praises his own acts no matter how bad they are.

I think he's become very childish in the last series...all he needed was a dummy and a rattle to complete the set.....

I have mixed feelings on Louis. When he's being nice I really like him, and I think he looks after his acts, but he annoys me when he starts arguing with Simon.

Like Sharon, I think that while he is sometimes annoying, he's been a judge on the show for so long that to take him away would lose something, so I'm quite happy for the judges to stay as they are, though they should all be given a talking to by Simon to cut out the arguing, the meaness and just stick to giving honest, balanced comments on each act.

Oh and Simon, Danni and Sharon don't do that aswell?

Simon with Futureproof and Hope
Danni with Andy
Sharon with Emily

They all do it. He is really passionate about his acts and his arguements with Simon are alot of fun to watch.

I don't like Louis, but is he really any worse than the other judges? They're all unprofessional in their own way...I thought, of this series, Danni was the most professional judge in terms of the opinions and critques she gave. Sharon can't get through an episode without throwing a temper tanturm, Louis constantly plays the Nationalism card to get people to vote and behaves like a childish bully at times (his constant ranting about Same Difference, for example) and after the way Simon was with Hope, he's lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned.

Any little respect I had for Louis' opinion was removed in Week 2 this year when SD asked him how they could improve their performance and he told them to "go home". Why bother asking his opinion on them ever again after that?

He is a waste of space on the panel. He is not entertaining at all and never has anything contructive to add. Fingers crossed he will not be returning to the show.

Now that I've just learned that Louis said his favourite moment of the series was Rhydian singing Phantom of the Opera, my respect for him has gone up!

Actually, They both are coming back. And the start of XF was awful - so he was brought back, hardly going to do it again now are they?

I bet he'll stay. Aside from the fact that it's unlikely they will sack him after last year, he clearly plays his part to perfection. Simon acts annoyed, but I'll bet quite a bit that he absolutely loves how Louis acts on the show. He stirs the pot quite well.

Simon will keep him. Personally I would be glad to see him go. Sharon wont have a partner in crime - she might behave better if she stays - personally I'd be glad to see the back of her too.

X factor is tired and needs a shake up...maybe not giving the judges a vote and leaving it to the audience would be a good idea. The judges should be just mentors and not have a deciding vote (where they can play tactics).

Oh, and while I'm shaking the axe, I'd get rid of Friedman as well.... Don't panic, its just my wishl ist. I'd keep Dannii and Simon and get 2 new mentors to join them.
