They were Sontarans. They had their helmets on, apart from that big close up at the end at their eyes. That looked pretty creepy.

Sarah Lanc. seems to have her own Sonic screwdriver! rani? and that volcano-y person looked fab! sad that there was only a glimpse of Martha in the trailer. this really does look so cool!
Catherine Tate looks like she's wearing a very bad ginger wig in some scenes.

I wonder what that "you're not mating with me sunshine" line means. Thank god it proves that she won't fancy the Doctor like the other new female companions did, but what makes her think the Doctor wants something, even though he did say he just wants a mate.
Looks like this will be a companion where the Doctor won't have to deal with her being lovestruck like Martha and the Series 2 Rose were.

You know, I'd love to see Rupert Holliday-Evans in Doctor Who. He used to play one of the 'Double-Take Brothers' in Harry Enfield's show. Maybe he could play a UNIT soldier or something.
