Portable DVD players - are they worth it?
Has anyone bought a portable DVD player lately?
Did people wonder why you've bought it? People keep on saying to me, "Why - when you've got a laptop/Xbox 360/PC and normal DVD player" but I explain that it's the portability/light weight of the unit I'm interested in. |

I have a portable Toshiba Divx dvd player. It has a nice screen, and two headphone sockets, so my girlfriend can watch as well when we are on long train journeys. It makes travelling a pleasure, and the battery lasts way longer than my laptop would.
It also means we can plug in to TVs in hotels and watch downloaded shows, and it doubles up as a portable stereo which can play cds and mp3 dvds. I also have a creative zen vision m, but for long journeys the Toshiba divx player cant be beat. |
