what do you think of the new version fo the theme tune they had on voayage fo the damned this evening? I quite liked it

I thought it wasn't bad, take some time to get use too of course but I just hoped they would of altered the intro too, perhaps have the tardis come in at a different angle or slightly alter the colours of the time vortex so it looks like a proper intro revamp like the old days.

Hated it, but I might get used to it. There was nothing wrong with the old one though IMO.

Really, really liked it. A bit more dynamic, and had the longer "lead in" that I've always liked from the Troughton era.

I do sometimes wonder how much more Murray Gold can throw into the mix. Loved it though.....

Actually, thinking back, I think by using the same old video with the new theme cheapend its effect.

I hate it. And I don't think it's down to the newness of it, so I won't being getting used to it over time. I think it's just plain bad.

I quite liked it, though I'm not a fan of orchestrated theme music. Bring back the Radiophonics.

Just watched it again, the video IS too slow for the music.

Sounded like the old theme (seasons 2 and 3), shortened and laced with random noise... It was change for the sake of change IMO. It was a mess.

And don't get me started on the end credits...

As someone said on the main episode thread - if it ain't broke...

Just listening to it again a few times, i really don't like it now. Perhaps it will grow on me, but the already established Murray Gold version grew on me the minute i heard it. Shame really IMO, but lots of people seem to like it. Each to there own as they say.

Very base-y, very drum-my...

On first listen I think it's "OK" though I think I prefer the old theme (the first more electronic one before they fully got the orchestra involved. IMO the theme should be electronic like the old days rather than something performed by an Orchestra..)

It'll take some getting used to, but this more "tribal, earthy" beat is quite addictive.

Now,...if anyone can find an MP3 I promise I'll purchase it when it becomes commercially avalible...deal?

Yes, I was thinking the same, it was the quick piano riff towards the end. TBH the new tune seemed like it borrowed elements from all the versions there's been in the past.
