Yeah Chicken and Bacon is always good. Sainsburys used to do this really nice American Ranch chicken or something with Chicken, bbq sauce and coleslaw, yummm it was lovely! I do prefer crusty rolls to bread though.

The worst sandwich I had was Crayfish and Rockett that was not nice. And coronation chicken is disgusting.

Baked chicken in just enough mayo to coat and then mix in TONNES of black pepper I like this on any kind of bread or roll.

Corned beef and Salt n Shake crisps (without the salt) - but HAS to be on the big Warbutons Toastie bread

A whole small chicken breast done in a George Foreman-type grill (ours is an Antony Worrall Thompson one that was in a sale, actually!) on good, seeded brown bread with mayonnaise and a bit of lettuce and tomato - yum!

It may be a oldie, but Ham, Cheese and Pickle must be the king of sandwiches.

Honourable mentions to:
finger finger and plastic cheese
corned beef and onion
sausage and HP sauce

I'm not very adventurous when it comes to sandwiches...

Home made Coronation Chicken is well tasty. Also Emmental (sp?) cheese and cucumber is nice. But the ultimate for is is caramalised red onions wth cheddar cheese and margerine/butter. Got it from a student cookbook and it certainly puts a smile on my face

Another one that I love. Actually cheese can be thrown in a sandwich with most things. I like it grated with a bit of mayo too.

Prawn and mayo has always been a favourite. Also like a good old tuna melt. M & S does a good chicken and bacon sub with a really nice mayo.. it has about a million calories though..

A few of my favourites are (in no particular order) -
Bacon and banana - don't knock it till you have tried it.
Beef and horseradish sauce - must be good quality roast beef.
Ham, tomato and mustard - sweet ripe toms and English mustard.
All must be in good quality bread buns, the fresher the better.
Not forgetting the good old standby -- Strawberry Jam !!
