Ham, cheese, lettuce, mayonaise and pickle is my favourite filling. I get it from Marks and Spencers whenever I'm in town and have time.

When I was a kid (about 8 or 9), I had a wierd taste in sandwiches. I used to have tinned tomatos, ham, marmalade, brown sauce and beef and onion crisps in my sandwiches.

Now I wouldn't touch such a sandwich with a barge pole lol.

Can you put uncooked halloumi in a pitta with tomatoes and put it in the sandwich/panini maker? Will the halloumi cook properly or should you cook it a little first?

Should be fine, It's just cheese in the end so all you are wanting to do is melt it.

I like tuna sarnies. But, when i got to the local sandwich shop i tend to get either egg mayonaise, or the seafood platter - which is crab sticks, prawns etc in a rose mary (is that how you spell it) sauce.
