Did I imagine it or was it very slightly different?

I know the end music was different(and awful) but have they fiddled with the opening theme.

Yes they're using new music. But, the opening title music is a lot different from the previous version whereas the closing credits are only slightly different, apart from the editing that was done to it to make it shorter.

I prefer the previous versions. The new opening theme is ok but it just lacks something that the other one had. It feels lower budget.

Yeah, new music. The only thing I liked about last night's episode.
