ipod shuffle flashes green and orange
and no music comes out of it, any way to fix this? only had it 3 days.

Edit - This replaces original reply.
Your iPod has a fault and needs to be restored to its factory settings Green = good charge (30% - 100%). Orange = low charge (10% - 30%) Red = very low charge <10%) No light = no charge alternating green and two orange for 10 seconds = ERROR: iPod shuffle must be restored See apple site for more details for led status http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304510 Restore procedure: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300701 You will need to re-sync iTunes with Shuffle as this will delete all the songs on the iPod |

Hi kinda relates to a question, if i've got say 20 albums on my ipod classic 80GB and i delete 10 of them off my laptop HDD would they autmatically get deleted off my IPOD when i connect to my laptop?I don't want it to do this... |

To stop auto syncing click your iPod on the Devices list on left of iTunes to bring up summary screen which shows a picture of your iPod and click 'Manually manage music and videos'. |
