ipod shuffle flashes green and orange

and no music comes out of it, any way to fix this? only had it 3 days.

Edit - This replaces original reply.

Your iPod has a fault and needs to be restored to its factory settings

Green = good charge (30% - 100%).
Orange = low charge (10% - 30%)
Red = very low charge <10%)
No light = no charge
alternating green and two orange for 10 seconds = ERROR: iPod shuffle must be restored

You will need to re-sync iTunes with Shuffle as this will delete all the songs on the iPod

Hi kinda relates to a question, if i've got say 20 albums on my ipod classic 80GB and i delete 10 of them off my laptop HDD would they autmatically get deleted off my IPOD when i connect to my laptop?

I don't want it to do this...

If you have iTunes to Autosync your iPod with your library then yes it will remove them from your iPod.

To stop auto syncing click your iPod on the Devices list on left of iTunes to bring up summary screen which shows a picture of your iPod and click 'Manually manage music and videos'.
