I love my vision m 60GB (slim). DivX playback and TV Out is great for Heroes and stuff.

I just wish that audio zencast's didn't get put in the music libary. same with audiobooks. And it played that stupid ipod vodcast format without converting.

Looks like Creative aren't bothered any more, though. They've discontinued the Vision, so anyone who wants a DAP with a reasonable amount of space needs to get an ipod now.

Where did you hear this? I've only just been given a Vision W for Christmas. Always disturbs me when I hear this sort of thing because i worry what would happen if it goes wrong!

Creative stopped making all Visions (both M and W) in about July-ish.

This is why you can no longer buy them on the creative website.

if it goes wrong it would be a refund or a repair from creative under the warranty.

also comming soon is the last player in the Zen V and V+ series, after that the Zen V /V+ series is to be discontinued.
Aparently a successor to the vison:m is due to be anounced in April, and it will apparently feature WiFi of some sort

My 20gb Zen touch has come back from the menders today, it's three years old, the warranty expires tomorrow, and I love it! I will need a new one though - I'm excited about the prospect of this thing in April - I was hoping to have a new player for my b'day in Fab, but wasn't quite convinced by the Creative options out there (the new 'Zen' model looks good, but at 16gb for the top model, I wasn't convinced - am having space issues with 20gb, 4gb less would kill me!) - might just ask for the money and hold off til whatever's new appears on the market and then splash out - I'm gutted I missed out on a Vision M, they looked excellent!

I'd disagree there.

Archos, Cowon and a few others are doing PMP's with decent capacity. (60gb +)

It also depends what you class as reasonable. Even a 160gb iPod wouldn't hold anywhere near the amount of digital content I've managed to accumulate. So, regardless of the player, I'm always going to be doing an amount of chopping and changing.

You still get divx playback with these as well. No need to go down the 'convert everything' route like you do with an iPod (well, with most online video anyway).

I still use my Creative Muvo2 as a second player. very handy in the car and whatnot. My main player has been a Cowon A2 for some time now.

The A2 is 'only' 30gb but does me fine. The new Q5 looks good though (60gb in the top model) ...
