Hi

I have an older style one 4 all remote control purchased in 2005 and have lost the manual though still have the booklet that lists the codes

Can anyone tell me in what sequence I have to press buttons on the remote to programme it to use?

The remote has a menu button and a 'magic' button at the top if that is any help. If memory serves me correct I had to use the magic button when setting it up to work originally

They do have manuals on there, I don't know though how far back they go.

If your manual isn't on there it might be worth emailing them.

I'll give you the instructions for my device (URC7955), it might be the same.

Press TV button (assuming you want to program TV operations).

Hold down magic button until it blinks twice.

Type in the 4 digit code (the led will blink).

See if this code works, if not try the next number in the list (repeating whole procedure).

Somewhere on the RC there should be a model no. -URC **** more often than not on the front failing that check inside the battery compartment. If all else fails can you post a picture of it?
