Russell had you lot there, didn't he? Ha ha ha.
"Oh, it's so obvious - when will he stop using anagrams?" etc, etc....
Oh yes, he's one step ahead of you lot...!!

I guess the name still had a meaning, though:

Astrid = 'star' or 'starlike'

and then Peth meaning 'thing'

so, Astrid Peth is a 'star thing' or 'starry object' - which is what she was destined to become.

Posts: 2 Astrid = Anagram for Tardis

Apologies if this has been posted somewhere but I have read through this thread and couldn't find it.

I am by no means a Dr Who fan, I watched it because yes I like Kylie and my Daughter adores her. I actually thought VOTD was simply amazing, even to the point where I may watch some more Dr Who now. I loved Astrid and thought Kylie done a super job considering I was worried. Her acting has never been much. I really wish she could be the Dr's sidekick for a bit longer but heyho not for now, maybe another time. They can and will bring her back if they really want as I'm sure they will Billie Piper. I know its all about personal opinions and I respect that but I do feel some of you on this thread have been very harsh with everything regarding VOTD which again I thought was wonderful.

Of course he is, but I bet he never thought anyone would work out that Kylie Astrid Peth is an anagram of - I like the dry taps. Now that must be a hidden clue to, well...
