I did - And technically it still could be, because the Doc never saw it - and the others wouldnt know who he is - and to be honest Davros was reduced to a mere head when we alst saw him, and the likeness is UNCANNY!

I think the Toclafane are basically the Daleks of the future - living creatures kept alive inside a robotic shell. Only these were smaller and more maneuverable than a Dalek shell, although just as deadly. So there's definitely a parallel there although - technically - The Master created the Toclafane which makes him the 'Davros' in this situation.

Interesting theory, but problematic. Firstly Martha realises the head in the Toclafane was the little boy she met in Utopia. Also, it is well established that Davros was a humanoid grown male who got mutated in the Thal/ Kaled war.

Davros also wouldn't be some soldier for the Master.

Was it the little boy she met though? Didn't the toclafane say they shared each others thoughts? So it was an entirely different one, just remembering what was said between Martha and the boy.

no I didnt think that, however in the middle of the trailers for the forthcoming series there was a shot of an Alien face all be it only the eyes, that I thought was Davros.
