Is now the right time for new HDTV?

For various reasons I am now looking to get a 40 inch TV. I want to get one before April. Can you guys help me out?

I want it to be 40 inch, 1080p 100Hz and 24p if possible but with good SD quality too.

Moneywise I want to spend less than £1000.

The only other thing I wonder is whether to get one in the Jan sales or wait until March??

Maybe the LE40M87BD from Samsung?

There's never a right time to buy, if you wait you'll always be able to buy your current TV cheaper or a better TV for the same price. What you have to do is accept this and not worry about it.

You can get a very good 40in for under a thousand, or you could go for a cheaper one and add a surround sound system to it.
