I got a Motorola V8 a couple of months ago and have had no problems hooking it up to my PC.

All of a sudden now though it just wont work. Its recognising the hardware when I plug it into the USB port but then says theres a problem installing it and the wizard says my phone cant be detected.

Ive tried reinstalling the software & using different USB ports on my PC.

Has anyone else had this, or got any suggestions.....

Are you using Motorola Phone Tools? Try Motomodders for advice on resetting device drivers.

Try uninstalling the hardware from Device Manager and drivers before re-installing. (Use Device Manager (and select show all) to remove the hardware)

@asp746, its not very nice to hi-jack someone elses thread. You need to install the software BEFORE connecting the phone.
