PC not recognising my phone
I got a Motorola V8 a couple of months ago and have had no problems hooking it up to my PC.
All of a sudden now though it just wont work. Its recognising the hardware when I plug it into the USB port but then says theres a problem installing it and the wizard says my phone cant be detected. Ive tried reinstalling the software & using different USB ports on my PC. Has anyone else had this, or got any suggestions..... |

Are you using Motorola Phone Tools? Try Motomodders for advice on resetting device drivers.

Try uninstalling the hardware from Device Manager and drivers before re-installing. (Use Device Manager (and select show all) to remove the hardware)
@asp746, its not very nice to hi-jack someone elses thread. You need to install the software BEFORE connecting the phone. |
