hi

I have just reveived my E65 on Vodafone. the main reason I got it was because of the WLAN web browsing. At First attempt to listen to BBC radio via the website a message came up and said that i did not have enough memory, I put in a 128MB memory card and this now works great using the built in Real player, I can still not watch any videos though on BBC or You Tube. do I need a bigger memory card or am I expecting too much

Any help would be helpful

When you say you can't watch videos, what message comes on screen telling you this? If there is no message, what happens?

It just says cannot play all the file but it will try to play what it can and then just plays the audio (or words to that effect)

Hi,

The E65 wouldn't support Flash video which is needed to play internet video files via a handset (I'm not aware of any mobile out there right now that would allow this to work)

To combat this sites such as YouTube are now being broken down into 'mobile versions' (other popular web 2.0 services to take this approach include 'MySpace'). Vodafone do have the mobile version of the 'You Tube' service which you can access through Vodafone Live! - More information can be found at the following link

Vodafone YouTube service

Some mobile websites also provide the option for video downloads - SkySports for example allow you to download football highlights via Vodafone Live!

when it states you do not have enough memory i believe it referes to the RAM not the storage space on your device. in regards to youtube i have tested on the N95 and i believe all series 60 devices come with flash installed and movies worked. ensure you have got it set up correctly "i used the internet apn"
