Sorry, I should have thought! It's a local Worcester sauce type-thing; I love it- it's very nice. Read about it here if you fancy a sneaky peek.

I'm in London and I've never heard of it. Does it taste the same as Worcester sauce?

Yes, it is very similar but does taste a bit different. It's suitable for vegetarians too, whereas some brands of Worcester sauces aren't, I believe. It's a Sheffield thing but has branched out around Yorkshire and a bit further afield. I've heard reports of Sheffield expats having bottles shipped out to them because they like it that much. Stockists are listed here, but it doesn't stretch to London.

A good late snack I learned about of these forums - put crisps on a plate. grate your cheese of choice over them, put in the microwave just long enough for the cheese to get sticky.

My student post-pub fave was fish finger sandwiches. I haven't had one for years though.

Hendersons Relish is a taste on its own It is good on stew and pies and chips!! I think it is a sheffield thing. We have it on our sunday yorkshire pudding starters Yum Yum

I assume this thread is for posting late night snacks.

Mine are Oreo double stuff peanut butter/chocolate sandwich cookies dunked into a tall cold cup of Moo Juice (from a four legged creature grazing in a field called a cow). Another is a couple slices of bread (wheat - toasted) with peanut butter mixed with a light coating of Honey and a drizzle of Cinnamon.

Or anything else that may be lingering in the fridge that looks tasty.

Whatever I can find that I fancy, usually though it is some meat pieces or pick n mix. That is a side plate of meats, cheese, some bread and crisps/biscuits like Ritz.

I used to love oatcakes (north staffs, not Scottish) with cheese in them, but earlier this year our local Tesco stopped selling them after the price went through the roof.

I ould order them on line I suppose, but they'd still be rediculously expensive, I might try making my own instead
