please help if you can, I've tried to include as much info as I can think of but if anyone needs any more info to provide assistance then I'll provide it.

I'm needing to hook up all my boxes in my room but have found some equipment doesn't have the right input/outputs making the job tricky. I'm hoping someone here can help me connect everything up.

I've got a TV, VCR, Freeview, and Wii, I've also got a DVD player but that can be excluded but if anyone's got any ideas for that then great! I want to hook everything up to my TV so that I can use them all but also can tape the freeview through my VCR. At present I was connecting the Wi throuh phono plugs which were used on the TV's 'AV2' mode, and the VCR through the SCART socket and these didn't interfere.

My equipment is:

TV with 1 SCART socket, 3 phono plug input, aerial socket (round think with a pin in the middle) I think also that the SCART socket cannot take the SCARTs that have all the pins in the socket.

VCR with aerial input & output, and a SCART socket.

Freeview with aerial input & output, and a SCART socket.

Wii with 3-phono plug connector or SCART adapter.

I've got a multitude of cables and have a multi-SCART unit (a box that you can fit 5 SCART cables into with 1 SCART cable going out, this however doesn't have any switches on it to adjust which one outputs)

I just don't seem to be having any luck atm with different combinations and was hoping someone here might be able to give some assistance. If there is any cable anyone thinks I need then let me know and I'll pick one up.

Cheers for any help!

Firstly, sounds like your TV needs updating, but if that's out of the question, I'd start by linking the aerial from the wall into the freeview, then connect the freeview via scart to the vcr. Use the vcr out scart and put that in the SCART switch box, along with the Wii and the DVD player.

Then link the switch box to the TV by one SCART lead so whichever componenet you switch on should alert the TV automatically.
