A Happy Customer

Hi all,

With all the complaints about missing engineers and the TV service not working, I thought I'd post a positive experience. (and no I don't work for the company)

I migrated from NewNet to Tiscali at the end of November (that was went I signed up for Tiscali) and was supposed to get my engineer visit 10/12, however I received a phone call on 07/12 informing me my ADSL would not be cut over til the 17th due to BT, so my engineer was cancelled and I should phone back after 17th. On the 17th just after 12 midday my service did transfer over, and when I called Tiscali, they were aware of the engineer needing to be rebooked and I ordered for 28/12 between 6pm and 8pm. At 5:45 engineer arrives (it was his last job of the day so thought he could see if he could get home early), and leaves an hour later with one happy customer, no drama just a working service. (My phone line gets cut over 02/01/08 so it seems that's not needed to make the service work)

I haven't tried any speed tests with the TV on, but without I'm constantly getting between 5.5 and 6.5 Mb and I've even managed to download some torrents, peaking at 470KB/s. Maybe I will hit some hidden cap somewhere, but at the moment everything is happy in my world

Happy customers would not usually bother posting here. Its natural to complain I suppose.
