Seconded.
The Caisos are nice, I looked at them myself when I was looking for a pocket sized camera. But .... image quality from them is not up there with Fuji or Canon (or various others as well for that matter).
I ended up with a Fuji F20 so I'd go along with the F30/31 suggestion. Great little all rounders.
First review I found for the Exilim Zoom:
Flash underpowered, noisy images in shadows and over ISO 200, purple fringing, detail loss due to noise suppression, marked barrel distortion at wide end of zoom.
Doesn't sound like a good camera to be using in clubs! Crap flash and rubbish at high ISO. The F series have excellent flash performance (average for that size of camera is about 10/11 feet ..... the F series is double that) and good high ISO as well.
No point looking at extra zoom. In a dark club it'd be a waste of time unless you're using very expensive kit. Zooming over any distance in the dark with a compact is pointless.
Oh .... and using a little compact like that won't be a lot of help when switching to a dSLR I'm afraid. Using a pro-sumer (S5IS, S8000fd etc etc) might be but they're not very compact!
