Sony Bravia problem resolved
Hi
Not too long ago I posted my first message here about a low pitched whine I was receiving when my Sony KDL32S3000 started and lasted about 15 to 20 minutes. I got a full refund from Sony. Spent a long time on here reading through some very helpful messages and decided I'd pay a little extra and go for the Panasonic TX-32LXD70. Got it today at John Lewis in Glasgow for £599 plus the 5 year guarantee and free delivery. Their site is selling it at £699 but the young lad in store today told me they had been price matched by a local shop and had had to reduce their price. So, hopefully I've picked a good one and once again, many thanks for all of your help to this 'oldie'. Even my son was proud of the bargain I got today

I apologise Nigel. Sony agreed that the sound shouldn't be there for so long and they issued me with a code number. I had to give that to the retailer who then gave me a refund.
