Right i thought my idea of this thread was a nice postive one and id like it to try and remain nice and have nice things said about EVERY act thank-you

*B.C.W.W*

Kimberley - Didnt have a chance on the Live shows with her Choreography and styling but the girl can sing and hopefully will get a career out of it.

Daniel - He had the looks and the voice but had bad songs on the live shows, he showed he was good at auditions and bootcamp

Futureproof - Best boy band around (potentially) IMO But Didnt really get to see the best of them.

Andy - Good looking, Charisma, Nice guy, Likeable AMazing voice.

Alisha - She's Marketable, Distinctive voice - Has potential, Stage presence, Big Personality and Star quality Didnt have great songs accept PYRO and Valerie. The right material she'l be every bit a success.

Bev - I thought she was great could belt out a song whenever she needed too had some unbelievable performances i think maybe she could be another Brenda.

Hope - Were good and had likeability and will most likely get a RD.

Niki - Brilliant singer like Beverley a good Belter and will do great in the future whatever comes her way - go Niki.

SD - Very marketable, Would be great at presenting a kid's show, both could sing and dance.

Rhydian - Good voice, Great Performer (Camp is when he was at his best) Definately will make it big on the west end stage.

Leon - A long long career ahead for this talented young man and i cant wait to buy his album

Kimberley: What a lovely and genuine girl! Had the voice and everything but was screwed over.

Daniel: Good looking, nice voice. Might have got further with the right songs.

Emily: Had a good audition.

Futureproof: Ermm .. good looking? Nice voices.

Andy: Very good looking, nice voice, might have got further with the right songs.

Alisha: Gorgeous, beautiful unique voice, imo. She shone in 'Valerie' and would have got further with the right songs .. Oh, and lovely girl.

Beverley: Good, strong voice and shone with the right songs.

Hope: Gorgeous, had nice voices overall. With the right songs eg. Back to Black, they were fantastic!

Niki: Powerful, strong voice. Shone in the early weeks.

Same Difference: In love with these two Gorgeous people with great recording voices and are such nice, genuine people and I can't wait till Wednesday when they're gonna do a Q&A!!

Rhydian: Great voice and tone .. very versatile performer and seemed like a genuinely lovely guy

Leon: Did well in certain performances, good voice. Wish him luck with his career!

Good idea hun!

Kimberley: Annoying and bland. No future in showbiz.

Daniel: Has already had a shot at fame and didn't get there. No reason to believe he will make it again. Should stick to songwriting.

Emily: No chance due to adverse publicity and, frankly, not that good a singer anyway.

Futureproof: Ok but not good looking enough or talented enough to succeed as a Boy Band.

Andy: Good looking but had the charisma of a brick. Can sing but would need a lot of coaching on how to present himself.

Alisha: Wedding singer. Sorry, but just not good enough.

Beverley: Good but not good enough to crack the Diva market.

Hope: Dreadful. Like a 'D' list Spice Girls. May have a future as an SG tribute band but that's about it.

Niki: Again good but had a chance and didn't make it first time. May appeal to an older audience this time but a bit shouty for the classic Diva role.

Same Difference: Should do very well in kid's TV and the charts in a kind of S Club 7 role.

Rhydian: Will probably do a G4 and release a few albums but his future lies on stage.

Leon: Difficult to say. Will certainly have short term success but not sure if he's mainstream enough. May move to swing which he enjoys and which is probably his long term niche.

Kimberley: Made me laugh during her audition, I enjoyed her performance on the live show and she went far too early IMO.

Daniel: Thought Louis could have done much better with him, but the two live show performances were awful.

Emily: I liked her second performance, but should NOT have gotten to the live shows. Had a good audition though.

Futureproof: I liked them, but couldn't imagine them getting any further than they did. Very good Week 2 performance

Andy: Left the compitition too early. Didn't like the Week 3 performance but Chasing Cars, Stayin' Alive and I Don't Wanna Talk About It made up for it.

Alisha: I liked her, but everyone knew she was going sooner or later. Really liked Valerie though...

Beverley: Good singer, but my least favourite act. I was a bit bored watching her performances and didn't like any of the songs.

Hope: I didn't like them much, but after re-watching them they were pretty good. I really liked Lady Marmalade, Back To Black, Gimmie Gimmie and We Will Rock You. Leah is a very underrated singer IMO.

Niki: Enjoyed all her performances. Very good singer but couldn't have imagined her winning. I liked One Moment In Time, My Heart Will Go and Total Eclipse Of The Heart. All That Jazz was okay, but didn't like the trumpet part haha.

Same Difference: Very entertaining. Most people just label them as cheesy but they look genuine nice people. They had some difficult choregoraphy but they pulled it off. Really liked Chain Reaction and Don't Feel Like Dancin'.

Rhydian: Has a good future ahead of him, I liked the first four performances but after that I found most of the songs the same (bar Go West)

Leon: What can I say? I liked all the performances and he seems like a really good person. Good luck to him

Kimberly - I liked Raining Men She was messed about with the timetabling and seemed like a lovely girl, she shouldn't have gone out so early

Daniel - Had a good voice, song choice did it for him. He could have gone a lot further than he did

Emily - When she did well, she did really well. But I can't blame song choices, mentor or anything for her.

Futureproof - Good voices. Not really my thing but I can see why people liked them

Andy - Good looking, nice voice. Probably suffered from Dannii preferring Rhydian and Leon (maybe anyway)

Alisha - good looking girl and when she had the right songs (like Valerie) she really shone. Unfortunately she didnt always get the right songs

Beverley - Great singer, she had great stage presence

Hope - Probably my least favourites but this is probably due to the Hype Factor and the fact that Simon seemed to favour them over his most talented group They did have nice voices and despite all the bitchyness allegations they seem to actually be quite nice girls

Niki - First two weeks of live shows she was amazing. I personally don't think she kept up to that standard and set the bar too high but those performances proved that she has a brilliant talent

Same Difference - Love them Love them Love them Love them They can sing, dance, they're lovely people and SARAH FLEW!!!!!!!!!

*calms down*

Rhydian - loved the camp performances most, they were entertaining and still sung brilliantly. The 'straighter ones' were well sung undoubtedly (sp????) but a little boring in my opinion, however he has a brilliant voice

Leon - I like him I'm a late convert, it was only about half way through the competition that I really liked him, before I thought he was really sweet but not a great talent, now I really like him. He doesn't always do 100% perfect but he always puts 100% in to it. Congratulations for winning

Wow that took forever!

Leon struck me as a potential winner straight away, Same Difference appalled me at the start, this was 2007 after all, but how could you not be won over by the enthusiasm and genuine love of what they were doing.

Can't agree with people saying this year was weak, a great variety of performers, and wouldn't a final of Nicki SD And Leon been terrific

They're positive where merited. No point pretending the acts are something they're not.

Yeah, but this is an Appreciation thread, hence you need to appreciate not... depreciate?

Anyways.

Kimberley - I liked her, she was bright and bubbly. She was far better than 'It's Raining Men' and platinum hair.

Daniel - Fitty. Did like his voice. Don't think he was given the best chances in the live shows.

Emily - Er, good audition, I liked her 'Emily' necklace.

Futureproof - Loved this group, thought they were really good. Should have stayed over Hope.

Andy - Had dreamy eyes. Lovely voice. Don't think he had time to find his comfort zone and so didn't show his true potential.

Alisha - Loved her voice. Really liked Dreams, don't know why she was in the bottom two so much. Blame Sharon for all things.

Beverley - Was good when given the right songs, she had a lovely personality, could really deliver on the key notes.

Hope - Good hair, even Phoebe's. Back to Black good, also liked Hanky Panky (I'm in the minority, I have deduced). I think people would have liked them better had Cowell not planted his head up their arse.

Niki - Beautiful voice. Was amazing in the earlier rounds.

Same Difference - my inner child adores them, were my 2nd favourite act. Really know how to perform.

Rhydian - Good voice, goes without saying. I respect him a lot, and he seems a genuinely nice person.

Leon - LORVE HIS VOICE, loadsmuss. Seriously really. Shot straight up to my favourite singers list. Oh, and he has a nice face.

Kimberley - my daughter loved her. Fun.

Daniel - devoted Dad - didn't get to hear the best of him

Emily - great in the audition stages

Futureproof - some great characters there and possibly some potential.

Andy - soft - in a good way - appealing

Alisha - had a certain something that the judges just didn't exploit - a sort of 1970s babe. Judges missed a trick there.

Bev - great voice but not sure about the total package

Hope - fun

Niki - good voice - loved her softer, more melodious performances

Same Difference - loved by children everywhere. Not the greatest voices but great performers

Rhydian - charismatic performer with a good voice - has massive potential

Leon - great tone to his voice, less confident as a performer but that will come. Should probably get some training to help control his voice - it will help his pitch and help him avoid injury problems in the long term

Apart from one or two elements this is very close to my analysis. (e.g. Rhydian blew me away as opposed to just good voice) including the Hanky Panky

Kimberley - great personality, classic facial expressions, good voice, sadly went before she showed what she could do.

Daniel - good looking, don't think we saw the best of him.

Emily - good first audition

Futureproof - good looking lads and sounded great together. Was sorry to see them go.

Andy - verrrrrrrrry pretty and seemed like a lovely lad. Good first audition, don't think we saw the best of him.

Alisha - Her performance of Valerie is one of my favourite performances from the live shows. Really admired her for fighting back after being in the bottom two the 2 previous weeks. Was great when given the right songs.

Beverley - really liked Bev as I think she has a great voice and liked her as a person. Loved her rendition of I'm Every Woman.

Hope - got a lot of stick but gave some good performances. Expected to hate We Will Rock You - but really liked it.

Niki - given the right songs she was brilliant esp NCTY and MHWGO. Also she was caring and motherly to the other finalists.

Same Difference - two lively likeable and talented young people who gave a great show every week. Took their constant criticism from Louis very well. Especially loved their performance of Don't Feel Like Dancing.

Rhydian - love his voice and his personality. Really admire him for shaking off the 'villain' image and showing us what a great bloke he really is. Had lovely comments for all the other finalists too. Loved him as The Phantom.

Leon - took a lot of criticism - even being told one week he didn't deserve to be there, but worked so hard to improve his performances and it paid off.

Aww some nice comments about everyone

Kimberley - seemed to have loads of personality and was actually quite a good singer

Daniel - good looking, but i dont think he would have got far even if he had the right songs

Emily - er... lets just gloss over that one

Futureproof - marginally better than hope, but still not brilliant

Andy - gorgeous but boring

Alisha - no confidence and out of tune

Beverley - some of her songs were ok, but i dont think she was anyone amazing

Hope - only phoebe could sing, and even she was out of tune a lot. played on their looks more than anything

Niki - when she really sang, she was ace. got too cocky though i think

Same Difference - i loved them. their performances were always worth watching

Rhydian - amazing!! should have won. best singer they've had in a long time (apart from leona last year). had stage presence and charisma. i just love him

Leon - can't believe he won. but on some songs he really was good. good voice, but i think crying a lot helped him to win

Kimberley - would have been fun to watch, never got the chance to show what she could do.

Daniel - OK voice, to be honest I never really noticed him possibly due to bland song choices

Emily - never impressed that much, like others said, better in the auditions

Futureproof - I liked them, but again song choices were the problem, very safe but rather bland.

Andy - always seemed a bit bland, but again probably to do with the songs

Alisha - seemed to be totally wasted - had great potential, but those songs. What was Sharon thinking? (Apart from Valerie)

Beverley - apart from week one always a good performance, even if the song was ordinary.

Hope - Back to Black was good. Other than that, all image no substance. (Sorry, couldn't phrase that better)

Niki - when she didn't shout she was a good singer, but I never really warmed to her.

Same Difference - it takes all sorts . I never liked them, but many others did, so what do I know They were entertaining in their own way and always memorable!

Rhydian - I seem to be in the minority as I preferred the singing Rhydian - all the high camp Liberace stuff left me cold . When he started "singing" I liked him a lot more. At times quite unemotional when performing, but Bridge Over Troubled water was superb. KJ let him down in the final though.

Leon - ickle Leon - for the first few weeks I was waiting on him falling apart but he proved that he could handle the stress. Problems with hitting the occasional note, but when he got it right, he did it with some style. The semi final was a bit iffy, but the duet and the single performance won it for me over Rhydian
