Do Halfords fit car stereos which you haven't bought from them? How much do they charge? Do they fit them for free if you buy it there?

hey bud, happy new year first off to a fellow spy-er!

Having been thinking the same thing myself, i checked out halfords last week, got a few good deals going!

they fit their own ones for £40. But there are many deals which they do for £20 (advertised as"half price fitting"), and even a few for free or £9.99 fitting. Have a look at your local store, chat to a few of the people there

Im sure there are those who will tell you to steer clear of halfords..bad experiences etc, but i had a pretty decent experience, and the prices didnt seem too bad, esp as at this time of year there are in store deals that are good.

Argos i know do a similar thing where u can buy a system from them and then pay 30 - 40 notes for it to be fitted.

With halfords, they book you in and then you come back to get it all fixed up. Argos will come to you.

Not sure about getting them to fix a system for you that you have bought not from them though

Most local garages will do it far cheaper. There are also many auto electrical stores avalible

Thanks guys. I don't know why but I thought Halfords fit their own for free, lol. I bought one from Argos a month agao and was moaning because I was going to have to pay £25 at a garage to get it fitted, but that's alot better than £40, lol.
