I-pod stolen - advice on replacing please
Faxy Fowler

I pretty stupidly managed to get my I-Pod stolen a couple of weeks ago, from my gym. I've definitely seen the last of it. It was a present I got only a few months back.

It was a 30GB classic model. I need a replacement now. Looking round, I can only get 80 or 160GB models. I don't need anything remotely those sizes. Equally the I-Pod nanos are too small for my needs.

In short, I have about 12GB of music to bang on there. Its all backed up so it will go straight into any replacement.

Question - eBay etc notwithstanding, are there any other outlets that will get me a 30GB pod for a reasonable rate? I don't really want to pay silly money for storage I don't need or will ever need.

or you could buy my 30GB creative zen vision m in excellent condition boxed with everything and two skins black and pink for £74 plus postage and ditch that i-tunes and come over to the drag and drop side.

If it's that good, why are you flogging it ?

I must admit, I set up my daughters Zen, and the drag and drop was very easy.

because i've been given a zen and although they have crippled it a bit compaired to the vision m i just don't need that much storage.

You might like to try Apple's refurbished iPod store.

http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje...=CertifiediPod

They usually sell previous models cheaply and they all come with a 1 year warranty.

(the site doesn't seem to be working right now, best to try it later if it doesn't work)

Honestly, you'd be surprised. iPods are like penises, no matter how much you have you'll always be happy with a bit more

The 80gig is the same price as the old 30, and you will find you make use of the room in time I bet, go for it!

80gb ipods are the same price at the 30gb version (when it was out), so you are just getting more storage for your money, bargain!
