Yeah his characters not very likeable alot of the time. Sometimes his real character comes through on the show though and you can see he's a good lad.

Easily the best tonight but he is going to have to keep up to this standard and even get better whereas others will improve so the competition will get a lot tighter. Loved his performance tonight though and he seems a genuine lad.
Amazing

He did great! He's going to have a big burden since he did well the first week, but I'm sure he'll do the best he can. I hope he can keep shining.

Chris was my favourite tonight, he was the best skater and the performance was really energetic - plus I love the song!

His lack of height may cause problems for him if he gets to the later stages where the more complicated lifts become more common. It is certainly going to be interesting and exciting watching him perform each week.

That's obviously why they paired him with the tiny and lovely Frankie.

I thought the general standard was much lower than the first night last year and Chris and Frankie stood out by miles...he reminds me a bit of KIeran last year with his raw exciting talent.

I've always gone for the slightly built but elegant females before (Bonnie and *sighs* Claire) but this year I'm 100% behind C and F

They don't usually give any consideration to that (although they should).

Series 1 Sean Wilson and Marika Humphries were the same height - Sean was very good, but couldn't lift Marika (she ended up lifting him)

Last years tich Stephen Gately struggled to lift Kristina.

Still with petite Frankie, Chris has a fighting chance with the lifts.

I was never a fan of Hollyoaks so was open minded to Chris, but I thought he was superb and I hope he makes it to the end. I do wish they would get shot of that tool of a judge from Queer Eye. It's clear he knows nothing and is just full of acidic remarks. Giving Chris a 3.0???
Give me strength.

Chris was truly amazing tonight, the best by a MILE!

I can see him making it to the final, no worries.

The overall standard last night was impressive but Chris' performance really stood out. He did fantastically and it was an interesting performance to watch. I was also a bit nervous for him as he obviously has the speed and ability to skate but like Torvill and Dean said, most likely to fall over!

I know he breakdances so maybe this benefits his footwork but overall he was definitely the best. I know Jason slagged Hollyoaks off in one of the tabloids and marked Chris lower than all the other judges but I will wait and see if he continues to mark Chris low before I decide that he's bias against Chris or not! I thought his criticism that Chris didn't interact with Frankie was a bit ridiculous as it wasn't a slow song like others had where they could really cling romantically to each other!!

Personally, I thought Chris was great: really good skater, but regarding Jason's score / mark:

I think he was pretty consistent in his marking (although the Aggie score was a bit low) and he makes it clear he is marking on the performance (not just skating skills) and Chris was really fun to watch but it was a pretty "rough" performance.

I normally think they mark way too high at the start and too quickly are getting to 5.5 / 6's.

Just popping in to say that although I am supporting Gareth, I thought Chris gave a very exciting performance last night.

Well done to him and his partner.
