The first time she was on Jools was my introduction to her, and I had to hit FF after about 30 seconds. I just thought 'I can't believe the build up she's had' because I thought she was dire.
Then when foundations was out, I remember standing in HMV and a bloke who looked sort of similar to me was buying her single and I thought "is it just me?" I couldn't believe anyone would buy that song, well maybe my neice's or nephews who are a lot younger.
I can now watch her, but it's much more in a negative way - just to laugh at her rhyming or singing. I can't help it though, it seems more like musical juvenile than prodigy.
Someone else who I caught through Later... was Candie Payne, who's album I really enjoyed. Maybe it would have stood out more if she'd rhymed "Bittttaahhh with Fiiittttaaaahhh" but i think she's made an album that will last the test of time much better than Nash has.
