Love for me, met her after last years Reading.

Can relate 100% to her lyrics which are pretty legandary; I use mouth wash sometimes I floss I've got a family and I drink cups of tea- doesent get much better than that.

Shes a superstar here in Harrow, shes not the most talented person to grace the charts I'll grant you that but she writes her own material, sings live and actually has a GCSE and A-Level in music and has a good background knowledge of the music industry and can be defined as an 'artist' unlike the majority of people and groups in the charts today.
Haha, and I agree. So that's love for me .

Love her, I think half the reason for people not liking her is because her accent is so strong in basically all her songs!

Fair enough you're not keen on her music, but how can you call her talentless? She writes her own music, she plays her own music and she sings her own music. There must be some level of talent in there for her to do all that.

I’m a teenager and I think this is embarrassing. obviously the people who like this kind of shit think it’s the best thing they’ve ever heard. The production is awful, he accent is insulting, I thought the mockney styling of Damon Albarn circa Parklife etc was annoying, but this is just taking the piss. Her whole persona is a marvel of effrontery. ‘Real life’ lyrics are all well and good, but she tries too hard and sounds completely bored. Birds is a half-decent song which shows she could have potential but the production ruins it. (Incidentally I recently heard a really nice live version of this on Xfm the other day) oh please don’t insult us by assuming anyone under 20 is instantly entranced by this smug rubbish.

I can write my own music.... Play live..... sing live...... Doesn't mean I'm any good.

Jeez, the musical ellite really can't see past their own shadow can't they?

Two infamous people from one place, first David Elleray, now Kate Nash...

The difference between Elleray and Nash being that Elleray is good at teaching Geography and officiating matters, his specialities, whereas Nash isn't at her "specialities."

She writes bad music, she can't sing and she's not a great pianist either.

So no, there is only minimal level of talent. She is after all, a trained actress not a singer.

Really, really loathe her. Can't stand her voice, don't think she's all that talented and seems like a bitch.

I talked to her in Selfridges. She was awkward and dismissive as f***. well, y'know, everyone has bad days. Then afterwards she turned round and started talking to this suited bloke she was with completely normally. oh well.

LOVE, I'm so glad she won a Brit tonight, very well deserved! That was the highlight of the night for me, an award went to someone I actually wanted to win!

I know her cousin, she's very sweet.

Really don't understand all the vitriol towards her. I wouldn't buy her music but I do like some of her songs and I like her voice.

Great she won an award because she has a sweet cousin.

Honestly, you can't really believe she is the best female in Britain can you?

Kind of make Britain a laughing stock

If you're writing your own music and playing it on a musical instrument, then you have at least some talent.

I think your confused about what the brit awards are for. That you think that they are reflective of something that they are not reflective of. They are the awards for the music industry.
