I think Amy/Emilia is gonna be this series's Aisleyne/Nikki, Chanelle/Charley forum war. It's a real shame, because they are my favourite two.

Hiya everyone, I didn't see Amy's potential when she intially came in, but over the past week she's quickly become my favourite.

She's talented, smart and funny.
She's also a bit random but that makes her interesting, and she doesn't feel the need to act up to the camera for the attention.
Lets all give Amy the credit she deserves!

I agree. When I first saw her (I missed the launch) I thought she'd be quite boring, a bit of a background housemate, and in honesty, I thought the same the first real HL show. I really have liked her ever since. She's just so funny but like not going out of her way to be funny.

I hope it doesn't turn into another forum war like mentioned above - I don't see why any Emilia fans could hate Amy - the nomination? pah, she didn't slate the girl - just gave honest reasons. I also don't see how Amy fans could dislike Emilia - from watching the show, yeah she can be abit bitchy at times, they all can, but she hasn't really done anything wrong. She's always nice to people.

Only reason I can think of is that there aren't really any villains this series - no one unbearably bossy, or bitchy, or spiteful or whiney - so people are filling the vacuum with pointless stuff. Emilia is quite sweet.

I'm sure the last thing Amy would want is for people to use her as a tool to attack Emilia, or anyone else. Amy seems a good, straightforward girl, and bright and pretty as well. That should be enough for anyone, one would think.

I agree everyone seems very genuine and nice. (Jay and Liam a little bit odd mind). I hate the big forum war of slagging either Amy or Emeilia off.

I think some people are comparing this lot to a normal BB where everyone is (mainly) just in there to grab a bit of fame/hope to be a celebrity for no talent.

This lot aren't like that and I'm sure Amy and Emeilia are both hoping to get quite different things out of the BB experience.

It has been many a year since I've been inspired to write a poem of any kind (as you can probably tell!), but every time I see Amy, my heart melts (awww).

A poem for Amy:

Elegance, thy name is Amy,
So beautiful and wise.
No emerald on this earth
Could sparkle like your eyes.
So full of grace, so serene,
You bewitch me with your charms.
No greater wish have I
Than to hold you in my arms.


Well, I struggled to write more but it just refused to come. I know it's cheesy as hell, but it was the best I could do. I expect if I were to say it to her face she'd give me the same look she gives Victor when he says those awful chat-up lines.

BTW, if you go to bestbetting and click on "historic odds" you can get a nice graph showing how Amy's or other HMs' have changed over time; and you can select which ones to show together in the graph.
