AV Receivers
Could AV Receivers distinguish front and rear sounds if a film gets shown on either a terrestrial or digital channel when watched via Cable or Satellite? I'm considering of buying one, but was wondering if an AV could separate front and rear sounds.

Most TV broadcasts, wherever they come from, are encoded in surround, so put the AV Amp into Dolby Pro-Logic mode (version II for best effect) and it'll work superbly..

Depending on the receiver you could have the choice of DPL/DPLII/DPLIIx/DTS Neo6, some receivers include cinema and music modes. |
